acrisolar: ROUNDISH AND LIGHTWOOD CHAIRS BY FUKASAWA AND MORRISON FOR MARUNI Their latest lines; ‘Roundish’ and ‘Lightwood’ come courtesy of Naoto Fukasawa and Jasper Morrison respectively. ‘Lightwood’ is Jasper Morrison’s first table and chair set for Maruni and is literally named for its lightweight feature - the chairs weighing only between two and a half to three kilos at most. ‘Roundish’ is a new piece by Naoto Fukasawa (who has previously created the ‘Hiroshima’ and ‘Traditional’ ranges for the firm) and is characterised by a striking roundish, Modernist curve in the back and seat.
